PRODUCTIVITY OF NEW GENERATION PRODUCTION SYSTEMS
The National Productivity Forum
The National Productivity Forumwill be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and it will be attended by professionals and top managers of manufacturing industry enterprises in Slovakia and Czech Republic. The first keynote speech will be given by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Volkswagen Slovakia Mr A. Reimold on the topic of Modern technologies and intelligent logistics – one of the main directions of productivity growth in automotive industry. The second keynote speech will be delivered by Prof Dipl. Ing. Dr. Mikuláš Luptáčik, professor at University of Vienna and newly appointed Dean of the Faculty of National Economy at University of Economics in Bratislava, who will be speaking about Post-crisis productivity growth in manufacturing industry.
These two initial lectures will be followed by a round table discussion with the participation of the Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Vazil Hudák, the two keynote speakers, Chief Operating Officer for Eastern Europe in Schaeffler Group Jaroslav Patka, President of the Slovak Academy of Sciences Pavol Šajgalík, and the Chairman of Alliance of Industry Associations of the Slovak Republic Alexej Beljajev. The discussion will be hosted by Prof Milan Gregor. The topic of the round table will be Productivity of New Generation Production Systems.
The programme will continue with the award ceremony for National Productivity Prize held by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and organised by CEIT a. s. in the categories of the best small and medium-sized enterprise and the best large enterprise of 2014. The Slovak Productivity Center will also hand out the Highest Award for Long-term Contribution to Productivity Growth in the Slovak Republic to a Slovak industry personality.
The lectures in the afternoon will focus on business sector, progress, orientation and specific solutions to achieve productivity growth in industrial enterprises.
